Developer Andrea Magni has a blog post up in Italian where he details how to customize a TListView in Delphi XE7 Firemonkey. Basically Firemonkey ships with some custom TListView add on components and tutorials which allow you to have things like three detail lines on a TListview or even multiple images. The one interesting thing that Andrea shows how to do is to customize these components (specifically the TMultiDetailItemAppearence one) to allow the Text property to continue to function normally. The default state of the ItemAppearance add on components allows you to customize the three detail items but not the main item. These ItemAppearance components really do give you and show you almost anything you could possibly need to customize each TListView item with. The original blog post is about Delphi XE6 but it also applies to Delphi XE7 and AppMethod. These customizations should work cross platform on Android, IOS, Windows and Mac OSX. I talked about these ItemAppearance components before as well.

Well this is a great feature, but you can´t make a searchbox fetch the List Items by their details.
