Delphi XE7 Firemonkey DNLA Media Clienrt Server Android | Delphi 11 10 XE8 XE7 XE Seattle Berlin Tokyo Rio Firemonkey Delphi Android Delphi IOSFlash AV Software Corp. has released a new DNLA media client and server component for Delphi XE7 Firemonkey on Android. According to TechRadar DNLA stands for Digital Living Network Alliance and is basically a technology that a lot of devices implement which allows you to stream data between devices on your local network. Think of it like home media cloud of all your devices that can stream media to each other. This component allows you to run your own DNLA media server and act as a DNLA media client to consume content from DNLA media servers. The component is only for Android devices. According to the component information you can stream video, audio, and images in addition to browsing content on DNLA media servers. I have not actually used this component but it may work for Appmethod as well. It is a commercial component but there is a free trial available. Flash AV Software Corp. also provides FFMPEG (a video player library) wrapper components for Android, IOS, OSX, and Windows.

Head over and check out all of the info about the DNLA media client/server component for Android and then download the free trial.
