Embarcadero has an affiliate program for their products where they pay out 4% to 8% of the sale depending which tier you are in. The affiliate program allows you to refer users to Embarcadero’s web store and receive that percentage of each sale from their RAD Studio, Delphi, C++Builder, AppMethod, and other products. As an example if you are on the 8% tier and you refer a user that purchases C++Builder Architect you could earn $332.72 for that sale. The 8% tier is reserved for MVPs or other community advocates that are active generating new content (blog posts, demos, tutorials, etc). The default tier is the 4%. The purchase window between the time you refer the user and the time they might buy it is 45 days. If they make a purchase within 45 days of the referral you receive credit for the purchase. What is great about the Embarcadero program is that it offers the free trial for people to download and try outI think this may contribute to some decent sales conversion numbers. If you run a website and already link to Embarcadero you could use the affiliate links instead. If you don’t run some kind of blog or website about Delphi, Firemonkey, or mobile now is as good a time as any to start one.
