Developer Alexander S. has upgraded his HTML Editor Library to support Delphi XE8 Firemonkey on Windows and Mac OSX. The library is based on the HTML Component Library (HCL) which we’ve covered before and actually includes HCL. The component supports full WYSIWIG editing on Windows and Mac OSX. The HCL library itself supports Android, IOS, Windows, and OSX. This HTML editor component uses no third party libraries and is entirely written in Object Pascal. It supports Unicode and is scalable with high DPI support. Additionally, it offers RTF import, spellchecking and auto correction, most HTML tags and CSS properties, images, lists, blocks, fonts, printing, and even syntax highlighting for HTML and Pascal. There is also a demo application which you can download and check out the full functionality for yourself. This is a commercial component but is bundled with the HTML Component Library which makes it into a component suite. Plus there is a reporting library also based on HCL. This component library should also work with Appmethod.
Head over and check out all of the features of the HTML Editor Library for Delphi XE8 Firemonkey and download the demo.
