eSeGeCe has released the sgcWebSockets component suite for Delphi XE7 Firemonkey on Android, IOS, Windows, and OSX. We’ve covered this WebSockets API component suite before for XE5 and it looks like it has even more features now. It includes a fully functional multithreaded WebSockets server and supports all major browsers plus Flash fallback support if the browser doesn’t support WebSockets 100%. It does authentication, custom objects, secure connections, compression, bindings, quality of service, queues, transactions, bandwidth throttling, server side events, heartbeat pings, watchdog auto restarts, proxy support, and more. There are so many features here you really need to download it and check it out for yourself. The demos are good examples of how you can use this component suite in your projects. The demos that are provided are: Real Time Monitor, Chat Demo, Protocol Demo, KendoUI Grid, Real Time Tickets, Real Time Quotes, Snapshots Demo, WAMP Protocol, WebRTC Protocol, Server-Sent Events. You can access all of the demos here. This is a commercial component suite and a free trial is available. Should also work with AppMethod.
Head over and download the WebSockets component suite trial from Embarcadero Code Central site.
