Jim McKeeth from Embarcadero has a roundup of links about the FireUI cross platform device designer built into the Delphi XE7 Firemonkey IDE. Jim has a 30 minute video Skill Sprint teaching you how to use the new FireUI View functionality. Basically FireUI is the name used for the new interface builder in Firemonkey IDEs that allows you to have one main form and then tweak that form on each different device. The tweaks that you make in each different device view are specific to that device view. You can still make changes to the master view and they propagate forward to the different device views. For example, you could use the new TMultiView on the master form and then on the iPhone FireUI View you can change a setting so it defaults to a better layout for the smaller form factor. One interesting thing about the FireUI is that apparently you can add and customize the list of devices in the FireUI Views drop down list. We covered one other use for the new FireUI which is to set up the premium styles on each different device.
