Over at TMS Software they have a component called WebOSMaps which is a commercial mapping component that interfaces with the Openstreetmaps API. This component is based on a web browser control and wraps the Openstreetmaps API making it easier to use. Openstreetmaps has various licensing restrictions on it’s use so be sure to check out their license before using. I believe the Openstreetmaps licensing is not as strict as the Google Maps licensing but it probably also does not provide as many features. In any event this control works on IOS, Android, and OSX. There are a few different mapping components for Delphi XE5 Firemonkey but if you need to use Openstreetmaps this is probably the one to use. I don’t believe it has an offline mode which is a drawback for mobile devices.
Head over and download the demo of WebOSMaps.
