Delphi XE8 Firemonkey Progress Dialog Component | Delphi 11 10 XE8 XE7 XE Seattle Berlin Tokyo Rio Firemonkey Delphi Android Delphi IOSDeveloper Yaroslav Brovin has released a new version of his native progress dialog components for Delphi XE8 Firemonkey. If you are building professional apps with Firemonkey for Android, IOS, OSX, and Windows these components are almost a must have as they provide a fast visually appealing way of showing your users that the app is performing work. We covered these components for XE7, XE6, and XE5. In addition to the two TfgProgressDialog and TfgActivityDialog components the suite also includes TfgVirtualKeyboard, TfgActionSheet, TfgGradientEdit, TfgColorsPanel, and TfgLinkedLabel. TfgProgressBar is for a progress dialog where you know when it is going to end so it shows a completion percentage. TfgActivityDialog is for when you don’t know the length of time it will take and so it just displays a spinner for example showing the app is working. TfgActionSheet automatically turns an ActionList into a native dialog menu. TfgColorsPanel is a nice looking color picker for Firemonkey. And TfgLinkedLabel is a clickable web URL label that launches your device browser when clicked. TfgApplicationEvents is also included and exposes some events like OnOrientationChange. All of these components are free and should also work with Appmethod. The website is in Russian so use a translator if needed.
