Developer Sarina DuPont from Embarcadero has a blog post up about a new hotfix for Firemonkey in Delphi 10 Seattle that corrects an issue with IOS9 and the latest release of Mac OSX (El Capitan). Without the hotfix you will not be able to compile to El Capitan and you will have to use IOS 8.4 SDK for IOS7 and IOS8. You can read our post about upgrading your projects to IOS9 here. Once you upgrade the PAServer on your Mac with the hotfix you should be able to use Delphi Seattle to compile to OSX 10.9, 10.10, and 10.11. Additionally, you should be able to compile and deploy to IOS7, IOS8, and IOS9 with the IOS 9 SDK using XCode 7. Don’t forget about applying the new entitlement for IOS9 so that your web browser components will continue to work as well. The hotfix is available for users without an update subscription as well so anyone with Delphi Seattle is able to apply it.

Does this fix work with XE8 as well?
My guess is no. The PAServer for Delphi 10 is different from the XE8 one. That being said I’ve never tried to compile an older version to a newer version of the PAServer. A newer Delphi version will not work on an older PAServer though.
