Thierry Laborde from Embarcadero has a good number of mobile and desktop layouts that he has created in various blog posts and made the source project files available. If you aren’t graphically inclined this can be a good starting place for your apps. Load up one of his existing apps and start customizing it to suite your needs and then hook up your code to the layout. Some of the layouts are pretty complex as the one I tested out had seven or eight different forms with functionality for you to use. The included icons on the mobile layouts remind me of file managers but don’t forget you can easily customize the icons to your own icons and use the rest of the layout. Layout #3 and Layout #7 are probably the most eye catching but layout #5 could easily be used for the interface to a game of some kind. The desktop layouts could also easily be used on tablet devices. The mobile and desktop Delphi XE5 Firemonkey layouts which work on Android and IOS in addition to Windows and OSX are available here:
